- 3 large Idaho Potatoes (approx. 1 1/2 lb), sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 pieces garlic, crushed
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 lb bacon, chopped and fried
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- chopped chives
- dash of nutmeg
- butter
Instructions:
Butter
the inside of the baking pan and layer sliced potatoes with chopped
onions and cheese in the pan. Mix garlic in cream with salt, pepper,
nutmeg and chives. Pour it over the potato mixture and sprinkle with
cheese.
Cover the pan with foil and bake in the oven at
375F for approx. 45 min. Remove it from the oven and sprinkle with
cheese before you return it to the oven for approx. 15 min at 400F.
